Buhangin Proper, Davao City โ€“ A local community recently received livelihood grant worth โ‚ฑ 354,850.00 from the Department of Labor and Employment Davao Region.

The project is dubbed as โ€œMANAHI TA DAIโ€ of which 35 members of Buhangin NHA Homemakers Livelihood Program (NAHOLIP) will be utilizing the assistance to purchase sewing equipment and materials.

DOLE Davao City Filed Office Chief Erlinda G. Mamitag said, โ€œthis project will surely open pathways of opportunity and a silver-lining amidst the on-going pandemic. It is our hope that this project will not only help the members attain a quality life but will also be able to contribute to the development in their community.โ€
