Davao City – Department of Labor and Employment XI Davao City Field Office (DCFO) conducted DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment (DILEEP) Orientation to fire victims of Sunrise Village, Panacan last 28 August 2020.About 118 household were affected by the fire incident last 27 August 2020 on or about 2:00 PM according to 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁.In response, National Government Agencies’ Region XI Offices namely: 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘, 𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗, 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗖𝗢𝗥, 𝗗𝗢𝗛, 𝗗𝗧𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼 have provided financial assistance, relief goods, and offered various programs and services as support for the affected families. Senator Bong Go has also provided financial assistance and relief goods to the victims.DOLE XI’s 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿(𝗟𝗘𝗢) 𝗜𝗜 𝗜𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗖. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 conducted a brief orientation on DILEEP that affected individuals may avail. The Program gives opportunity to the beneficiaries to start up their own livelihood. She also encouraged the affected individuals to avail the different services being offered by the government agencies.𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗫𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗕. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼 said, “DOLE XI assures the fire victims of its assistance. We will have the DOLE Davao City Field Office look into what livelihood we can offer them”.
