Tagum City, Davao del Norte – DOLE XI Davao del Norte Field Office (DNFO) employees received flu vaccines today, 10 September 2020. DOLE XI employees 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒐𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑪𝒖𝒊𝒛𝒐𝒏 who are both Registered Nurses administered the flu vaccine to 25 employees of DNFO.
As part of the DOH Memorandum No. 2020-0056 “Interim Guidelines for 2019 Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019-nCoV ARD) Response in the Workplace” and the CSC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, s. 2020 on the protection of government employees from dangers of injury, sickness or death in the workplace, the DOLE Regional Office XI and Davao City Field Office got flu shots from the Davao City Health Office yesterday. In order to provide for those who are outside Davao City, DOLE XI purchased flu vaccines for the Field Offices’(FO) employees. The vaccination for the other FOs are scheduled until the 23rd of this month.
DOLE DNFO Provincial Head Angelina A. RD Ofelia B. Domingo assured that DOLE XI will continue to find ways to ensure protection of its employees’ health. The Department continues to monitor the health of its employees through the DOLE XI Health Checklist filled out by employees before entering the office premises, she added.
