Davao City – The Department of Labor and Employment Region Office XI was a recipient of the “Huna-Hunaw” Art Sink, a project of the 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨, 𝙋𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘 (𝘼𝙋𝙀, 𝙄𝙣𝙘.) Davao City.

The Architects, Plumbers, Engineers, Inc. is a group of professional organizations that aims to promote unity and cooperation among professionals in the field of architecture, plumbing, and engineering in the City of Davao as well as to establish camaraderie among professionals through corporate social responsibilities and sports. Part of the social responsibility is to assist government institutions and or offices in the enactment and enforcement of national and local ordinances or laws affecting the different professions and participate in community activities that require the technical expertise of the member organizations.

In partnership with the 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝘿𝙋𝙒𝙃 𝙓𝙄, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙆𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙞 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣, 𝘼𝙋𝙀, 𝙄𝙣𝙘., it aims to contribute to the City Government of Davao’s initiatives against COVID-19. The portable sinks are made of recycled steel drums as body, with PVC pipes, iron sink, and faucet.

Through the 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙕. 𝘿𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚, 25 sinks were distributed to different government agencies and public within the City.𝙍𝘿 𝙊𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙖 𝘽. 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤 said that, “DOLE is happy and thankful for this colorful portable sink given by APE, Inc. It is now installed at the entrance of the DOLE Regional Office.”.
