Davao City – Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office XI, opens its 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 located at 𝙊𝙎𝙎𝘾𝙊 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤, 5𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤, 𝙅.𝙋. 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙫𝙚., 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮. This is in pursuant to the DOLE Administrative Order No. 124 s. 2020 creating the DOLE COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee and AO No. 124-A s. 2020 creating the DOLE Command Center.

The DOLE Command Center or simply referred to as 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 is the monitoring, coordinating and management arm of the DOLE COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee that monitor’s the OFWs affected onsite by COVID-19 and those repatriated to the country and recommend action in addressing the effects of the pandemic on OFWs.

Given this, the Regional Command Center for OFWs shall be responsible for: 1) Receiving and immediately acting on referrals and endorsements made by the DOLE Command Center and other DOLE offices through the MIS by coordinating with relevant unit/s within the office for proper handling and resolution of such referrals; 2) Encoding requests for information and assistance in the DCC-MIS and performing complete staff work to ensure that all information related to such requests are properly documented in the system and acted upon; 3) Regularly monitoring developments on all requests and encode updates, feedback or status on the requests in the MIS; and 4) Performing other related tasks that may be assigned by the head of office.

𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘿. 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚, 𝘿𝙊𝙇𝙀 𝙓𝙄’𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙧. 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝘾. 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙖, 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣, shall be handling referrals and endorsements made by the DOLE Command Center and other DOLE offices, including but not limited to, providing information on concrete actions taken by DOLE XI Regional Office to satisfy or resolve request for assistance.
