Montevista, Davao de Oro –  Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 11 awarded ₱200,000.00 check to LGU Montevista as livelihood assistance for 10 beneficiaries. 

DOLE 11 Regional Director Ofelia B. Domingo said, “the livelihood assistance we provide is based on the identified need of the beneficiaries.”

“It may be in the form of skills training, equipment, materials, or monetary depending on assessment results.” she added.

DOLE Davao de Oro Chief Neil Allan Baban turned over the check to Montevista Mayor Eurtropio S. Jayectin as response to Brgy. Bankerohan Norte’s request for assistance.

The monetary assistance is intended for the starter kits worth ₱20,000.00 for each vendor beneficiary.

Mayor Jayectin extended his gratitude to DOLE 11 for being responsive to the people’s needs.
