Davao City – 𝑫𝑶𝑳𝑬, 𝑷𝑶𝑬𝑨, 𝑶𝑾𝑾𝑨, 𝑬𝑪𝑪, & 𝑶𝑺𝑯𝑪 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑿𝑰 employees got free Influenza Immunization from 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗛𝗢). The vaccine shots were administered by 𝑪𝑯𝑶 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑫𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒆 at the DOLE Regional Office today.

Ms. Dalipe started with a brief orientation stating the contraindications: pregnant women, people allergic to chicken, egg, and gelatin. She emphasized that after getting the shot smoking and drinking alcohol should be avoided since it can affect vaccine’s effectivity. She also said that those who took the vaccine shots should refrain from eating eggs and chicken or anything that triggers allergies within 7 days to ensure that in case allergic reactions occur within a week, it is attributable to the vaccine.

𝑊𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑦𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑜𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑣𝑎𝑐𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑢𝑠. 𝑊𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑠.” said Ms. Dalipe. She also informed that Davao CHO also conducts free Flu Vaccination every Friday at their office.
