Great opportunities await fresh graduates and job seekers on Labor Day on May 1, 2010. Four thousand eight (4,008) local job openings and Nine Thousand two hundred thirty three (9,233) are offered by 37 local companies and 41 overseas recruitment agencies.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “ Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pagbabago”. DOLE XI hopes to get again the distinction of the number one region outside of National Capital Region (NCR) in Job Fair during Labor Day Celebration. Last year, DOLE XI posted 15% of rate of accomplishments on HOTS as 1,095 job seekers were hired from the 7,349 applicants who registered during the said event. The 15% rate of accomplishment has now become the requirement for all regions outside of NCR nationwide.
