Davao del Sur – The Davao del Sur Field Office (DSFO) of the Department of Labor and Employment XI (DOLE) compensated 145 beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program in Digos City on May 3, 2021.

Each beneficiary received P5,940.00 for rendering 15 days of emergency employment. The Department of Social Welfare and Development XI (DSWD) also gave an additional P3,000 for each of them.

Assistant Secretary Victor del Rosario graced this Post-Labor Day activity which was conducted in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Government Unit of Digos City.

Regional Director Ofelia B. Domingo extended her gratitude to the committed partners of the office in delivering favorable and valuable services to the Filipino workforce who were greatly affected by the economic crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

TUPAD is an emergency employment program of DOLE for the displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers that supports projects for social, economic, and agro-forestry communities.
