The Labor Relations Summit dubbed as the 8th Social Partnership at Work: Empowering Workers. Sustaining Enterprises was a momentous event for the Department of Labor and Employment-Region XI  and its attached agencies last November 23, 2015.  It was held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premiere, Davao City.

To help enterprises blaze their trails towards competitiveness and harmony in the workplace, the Department developed a toolbox containing a list of all of its productivity and workplace relations training programs and technical assistance.  This package of assistance  is a convergence of  DOLE programs and trainings known as the DOLE Productivity and Workers Relations Toolbox with the battlecry  #EngageMotivateAchieve.

#Engage is getting the social partners on board through conduct of massive information and networking using multi-media platforms including the social networking sites.

#Motivate entails providing the learning space and opportunities to build capacities of workers by demonstrating their learnings and for enterprises to grow, expand and share the fruits of their joint endeavour.

#Achieve requires enabling the social partners realize their goals by way of recognizing best practices of their  learnings  and noble contributions in advancing the welfare of the workers and improving business performance.

The event was highlighted with the presence of no less than the Secretary of DOLE, Hon. Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz who gave the keynote message.
