Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province – A signing of Deed of Usufruct and Groundbreaking Ceremony was done between the Provincial Government of Compostela Valley Province represented by Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy and the Department of Labor and Employment XI represented by DOLE XI Regional Director Raymundo G. Agravante at the provincial capitol compound, this province on October 21, 2019.
Gov. Uy in his message during the Monday Program said, “DOLE has been a partner with the provincial government in extending services to the constituents of our province especially with its livelihood and employment programs. With the provincial thrust of serving Comvaleños in one place, this deed of usufruct will bring us closer to DOLE and to other national agencies, as well.”
In his response, RD Agravante stressed that, “Giving us a bigger space for our office, means serving more constituents of the province. Rest assured, the Department will be pouring in more services under our programs, especially those in line with President Duterte’s Whole-Of-Nation-Approach in extending interventions to the grass root level.”
Under the Deed, the provincial government will lend a 1,100 sqm. lot inside the provincial capitol compound for twenty-five (25) years. DOLE through the DPWH will start constructing the 30 Million two-storey building early in 2020.
