Davao del Sur – 530 displaced workers from YAMADA Technology Corporation in Digos City received their TUPAD payout last July 6-9, 2020 at the DOLE Davao del Sur Field Office.

Each of the displaced workers who worked for 30 days received P11,880.00. The scope of work which included disinfection activities, repacking of relief goods, and other barangay-initiated activities were done in the respective barangays of the affected workers.

TUPAD aka Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers is a regular program of the Department of Labor and Employment intended for the affected workers in the informal sector of the society.
