In celebration of the 78^th DOLE Founding Anniversary on December 8, 2011, we had a family day at Rainbow Breeze Beach Resort in Caliclic, Samal Island.  There were group presentations and pinoy games were played. “Tigso”, sack race, “takyan” and “tumba lata” were among the most enjoyable games.  RTWPB XI joined in the activity. To highlight the said occasion, different Awards were presented to the following employees for their loyalty to the Department; 15 years in service: Rodolfo T. Castro Jr; 20 years in service; Helen V. Mejias, Jocelyn C. Flordelis, Albert Degamo; 25 years in service; Yolibelle S. Avinante, Jose Adrian Bugais, Blesilda M. Salise, Rogelio P. Salise, Arce D. Sinajon, Ediltrudes Cabiles; 35 years in Service; Dalidig M. Mawi. PRAISE AWARDS for 2011 are as follows: Best Organization Unit is Davao del Norte Office.  Model Employee Award was earned by Ms. Heraclea dela Torre, Gantimpala Agad Award was given to Davao Oriental Field Office; Career Development Incentive Award was presented to Ms. Erlinda G. Mamitag; Attendance Incentive Award to Dorothy C. Muring; Skills Incentive Award to Marlito D. Ayala and Best Single Entry Approach Desk Officer (SEADO) Award was given to Mr. Joseph Vingno.  At the end of the day, Green team from the Internal Management Service Division (IMSD) and Office of the Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director and the Violet team from the Davao City Field Office and Med-Arbitration and Legal Service Unit (MALSU) tied up as champions. Next in rank wass the White Team from Technical Service and Support Division of the DOLE Regional Office and Comval Province Field Office and finally the Yellow Team from Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur and Davao del Norte Field Offices.

It was a tiring day but it was filled with memories and lots of fun and laughter that made the bonding for DOLE XI employees stronger.  It also fostered and promoted skills, efficiency and ability to handle situations.
