The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XI has conducted a total of 142 job fairs in Davao Region for 2017.

These job fairs include the Labor Day Job and Business Fairs on May 1 in Davao City and the Kalayaan Job and Business Fairs on June 12 in Tagum City.

A total of 1,571 among the applicants were hired-on-the-spot for the job fairs conducted in 2017. There were a total of 24,945 job applicants registered for both local and overseas.

Meanwhile, DOLE XI in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Davao City and its Public Employment Services Office (PESO) is set to conduct a Special Job Fair for NCCC Mall fire affected employees on February 25 and 26, 2018 at the Davao City Recreation Center (Almendras Gym).

Other than NCCC Mall regular employees, DOLE XI aims to cater promodisers, merchandisers, tenants and agency-hired employees affected by the fire last December who are looking for jobs both here and abroad.

DOLE XI targets to invite a total of 40 employers wherein 30 will be local employers and 10 will be overseas employers.
