WITH the thrust to continually improve the systems to best serve the public, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XI has been reconfirmed by the Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) for its ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Having passed the second quality management system (QMS) surveillance audit last February 29 to March 2, 2016, the Department’s continued certification has been confirmed through the letter by CIP President and Managing Director Renato V. Navarrete to DOLE XI Regional Director Joffrey M. Suyao recently.
“The audit found your QMS maintained in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. It reported the strengths of your QMS and the activities that have been initiated by your different departments to meet their quality objectives, ensure external and internal customer satisfaction,” the letter read.
This means, targets will be rationalized, process flow will be shortened, complaints will be immediately acted upon and the department will be even more transparent all mainly for the welfare of the public.
“We are encouraged to strive to maintain and continue the improvement of our systems and processes as our public deserves no less than consistent quality service,” Director Suyao said congratulating all the members of the department who contributed to this success.
