The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XI livelihood beneficiaries has recently taken home two major awards during the recently concluded DOLE Bureau of Workers with Special Concern Kabuhayan Awards.

The awarding was held last May 12, 2017 at Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino.

Kabuhayan Awards is a yearly recognition system under the Department’s Integrated Livelihood Program which aims to reward beneficiaries for their hard work with the assistance that has been provided for them.

DOLE XI Negosyo sa Kariton Barbeque owner from the Municipality of Padada in Davao del Sur Sheryl Monroid was awarded as Best Livelihood for the Individual Category while Artes de San Vicente from Davao City bagged second place for the Group Category.

The awarding was attended by DOLE XI Regional Director Raymundo G. Agravante together with DOLE XI Technical Services and Support Division OIC Chief Paul V. Cruz, DILEEP Focal Person Rodrigo Roble, and provincial focals Leo Ariel Pepino and Cristita Coro.
