Manila – DOLE XI once again shines as one of the most awarded region during the Kabuhayan Awards 2019 held at The Manila Prince Hotel, Manila on May 27, 2019.  The Kabuhayan Awards aimed to provide due recognition to the performance of Regional Offices, PESO/ LGUs, DILP Focal persons and successful DILP beneficiaries.  The following are the awards received by DOLE XI.

Top Performing Region in the Implementation of DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program. Top Performing Region in the Implementation of Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) for 2018.

In the Best DOLE-Assisted Livelihood Project category, DOLE Region XI garnered the following awards: 2^nd Place – 8’s Magic Garments Association (Group Category) – Davao City Field Office, 3^rd Place –  Ms. Aina Ibrahim (Individual Category) – Davao del Norte Field Office.

8’s Magic Garments Association received a plaque and a cash prize of P130,000.00 while Ms. Ibrahim received a plaque and a cash prize of P80,000.00.

Other DOLE XI Awardees were the following: Rodrigo O. Roble, Jr, RSW – Best Regional Livelihood Focal Person; Cristita Coro  – Best Field Office Livelihood Focal Person; PLGU Davao Oriental – Best DILP Implementer for Local Government.
