Davao City . – A Memorandum of Agreement on the conduct of the 2019 Kalayaan Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Job and Business Fair was signed by the Department of Labor and Employment XI, Department of Trade and Industry XI, NCCC Mall Buhangin, and Interface Computer College on June 7, 2019.
Awaiting the job seekers are 4,522 job vacancies from 50 local employers and 2,971 job vacancies from 17 overseas employers. For local opportunities, the vacancies include customer service representatives, laborers, promotional demo/brand specialists & merchandisers, technical support representatives, mechanical helpers, cashiers, mechanical equipment installers, baggers, counter checkers, mechanical erectors, service crews and production workers. For overseas, the vacant jobs include cleaners, staff nurses (ICU, NICU, PICU, OR, general nurses & clinic nurses for females only), cashiers, waitresses and waiters, female staff nurses, furniture installers and assemblers, juice makers, personal trainers, English teachers (male and female) for China and Japan, pipe fitters, meat inspectors (male and female) for Australia.
