Davao City – On June 04, 2022 the Regional Board XI published through Sunstar Davao Wage Order No. RB XI-DW-02. The aforementioned wage order granted a one thousand five hundred pesos (Php1,500.00) wage increase for domestic workers in chartered cities and first-class municipalities and a two thousand five hundred pesos (Php2,500.00) wage increase for domestic workers in other municipalities. Consequently, there will only be one minimum wage for all domestic workers in Region XI which is four thousand five hundred pesos (Php4,500.00).

Wage Order No. RB XI-DW-02 simplified the wage structure for the domestic workers by eliminating the differences in pay based on the area of work of the domestic workers. The simplification of the wage structure is pursuant to the policy that the Boards shall simplify the minimum wage structures as provided in Section 2, Rule I of the 2020 Omnibus Rules on Minimum Wage Determination Wage Order No. RB XI-DW-02 took effect on June 20, 2022 or fifteen days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation in Region XI.### RTWPB XI
