One year after its launching, One Stop Service Center for OFWs (OSSCO) XI has already served a total of 71,028 clients from August 2017 until July 2018.
Out of the total number of clients, 11,878 are OFWs and 59,151 are walk-in clients.
OSSCO XI was established back in August 11, 2018 pursuant to the directive of President Rodrigo R. Duterte and was formalized through DOLE Memorandum No. 6- Series of 2017 mandating all DOLE Regional Offices for the creation of such.
OSSCO XI’s one year celebration was headed by DOLE XI OIC-Assistant Regional Director Jason P. Balais on August 24, 2018 together with the heads from OSSCO XI partner agencies.
There are a total of 16 agencies present in OSSCO XI namely the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA); Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA); Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA); City Government of Davao; Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA); Professional Regulation Commission (PRC); Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-Ibig); Philippine Health Insurance System (PHIC); Social Security System (SSS); Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA); Bureau of Immigration (BI); National Bureau of Investigation (NBI); Commission on Higher Education (CHEd); Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR); Philippine National Police (PNP); and Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).
Also present at the one-stop shop is the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XI representative (OSSCO Manager) for DOLE Clinic/Queries.
As of July 2018, data showed that top visited OSSCO XI agencies visited are PNP (8,464), NBI (8,414), SSS (6,084), and Pag-ibig (5,281). Meanwhile, for OFWs, top visited agencies are POEA (1,424) and OWWA (1,301).
OSSCO XI is located at the 5th floor of Gaisano Mall of Davao located at J.P. Laurel Avenue and is open from Mondays-Fridays 10AM-7PM.
