The Department of Labor and Employment XI DOLE Onse quarterly magazine was lauded by no less than President Rodrigo R. Duterte recently.

In a letter dated January 22, 2018 addressed to DOLE XI Regional Director Raymundo G. Agravante from Office of the President Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra, he wrote that the President showed “much appreciation” upon receiving his own copy of the region’s magazine.

“Knowing that there are committed public officials by his side motivates the President to work even harder for the welfare of the Filipino people. Your various program in the Davao Region have provided employment and business opportunities to your constituents and have given emergency assistance to those displaced and unemployed due to natural calamities. These accomplishments are truly remarkable and have set the bar higher for other regional offices,” the letter read.

DOLE Onse magazine was launched last year which was aimed to feature series of DOLE XI’s accomplishments for its programs on livelihood, employment and labor relations. The magazine is produced and distributed quarterly to different stakeholders in Davao Region.
