Davao City- DOLE XI paid tribute to the  hard work of the Public Employment Service Offices (PESO) in the region during the Team building and Fellowship Night of the PESO Year-end Planning and Assessment (YEPA) held at the Malagos Gaden Resort, Calinan, Davao City last January 17-18, 2013.

During the Awards Night dubbed as “recognition of the 2012 Top Performing PESOs”, the Department of Labor and Employment  Region 11 conveyed its appreciation and gratitude to all PESO Managers for their efforts  in effectively handing out employment and livelihood programs to its clients.

DOLE XI RD Joff Suyao in his message expressed his overwhelming gratitude to all PESO Managers  present highlighting their performances and accomplishments for 2012.  He emphasized that with strong partnership and camaraderie, nothing could hinder an exemplary achievement.  Not even when Typhoon “Pablo” devastated 9 barangays in the provinces of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental.  He added that despite the odds, Region XI PESO must continue to unite and bond together in pursuing excellence for this year and the years ahead.

Ms. Lara Zaphire Kristy N. Bermejo, President of the League of PESO Managers of Region XI , Inc. (LPMI-XI) also thanked all PESO Managers for a job well done for 2012.  She congratulated all nominees for the Award’s Night, adding that they will continue to support and cooperate with all PESOs in the region.
