DAVAO CITY – In line with its continuous efforts to promote productivity improvement programs and deliver productivity trainings to the micro, small and medium enterprises in the region, the RTWPB-XI conducted free webinars with new training modules developed by the National Wages and Productivity Commission.
The webinars benefitted 230 beneficiary-firms from different sectors such as the agribusiness, manufacturing and service. The new modules used in the webinars are intended to boost the productivity of the enterprise and its workforce in the period of the pandemic. These modules are: 1) 7S of Good Housekeeping Setting the Pathway to a Safe Workplace in the Period of Pandemic; 2) Work Life Balance: Productive Work from Home; 3) Guide to Starting and Growing Your Online Business; and 4) Leaner Management in the New Normal.
With the constraints in conducting face to face trainings in view of the current situation, the webinars served as an innovative approach to provide technical assistance to MSMEs towards moving forward to the new normal. The RTWPB-XI run the webinars from August to September 2020 in coordination with its partners in the public and private sectors such as the DOLE Regional Office and its Provincial Offices, Department of Trade and Industry and its Negosyo Centers, Public Employment Service Offices, Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., People Management Association of the Philippines and other concerned groups, and not to say the least, the technical assistance with the resource speaker provided by the NWPC during the Leaner Management training.

The Productivity Toolbox features the different NWPC Productivity training programs and technical assistance to improve the capability and motivation of enterprises to adopt productivity technologies for continuous improvement toward enterprise development and growth.
