DOLE Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III approved the Implementing Rules of the new Wage Order No. RB XI-20 on August 31, 2018.

Wage Order No. RB XI-20 granted a total increase in the basic wage of fifty-six pesos (P56.00) per day, which is given in two tranches to all private sector minimum wage earners in Davao Region.

As mandated by law, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board–XI published Wage Order No. RB XI-20 on August 1, 2018 at the Sunstar Davao.  Under the new Wage Order, the first tranche in the amount of P30.00 per day took effect on August 16, 2018. On the other hand, the second tranche amounting to P26.00 per day will take effect on February 16, 2019.

The Rules Implementing Wage Order No. RB XI-20 was recently published on September 11, 2018 at the Sunstar Davao. Copies of the said Rules are available at the RTWPB-XI Office, 2nd floor, R & T Yap Building, Bangoy-Monteverde Sts., Davao City.
