MANDATE

The Department of Labor and Employment is mandated as the primary policy-making, programming, coordinating and administrative entity of the Executive Branch of the government in the field of labor and employment.

VISION

By 2030, DOLE XI shall be a highly competent organization providing fully automated quality labor and employment programs and services with committed personnel working together towards ensuring full, decent and productive employment for all Davaoeños.

MISSION

To promote gainful employment opportunities, to develop human resources, to protect workers and their welfares, and to maintain industrial peace.

We, at the DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT - REGIONAL OFFICE Xl (DOLE Xl) commits to provide safe and healthy environment to protect its employees, its property and the public from accidents and or occupational diseases.

We will make every effort to establish the organization occupational health and safety objectives and to achieve the health and safety standards, legal and other requirements; adhere to the commitment to attain its purpose in eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risk; continually review and improve our systems and procedures pursuing internationally recognized management system to maintain and enhance implementation of health and safety in the workplace; ensuring every worker to participate and abide with health and safety standards in compliance with the law and with the established safe and healthy practices and procedures, and commitment to the health and safety must form an integral part of this organization.
